Industrial Economy

*National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors published article saying to further promote and expand bond financing support tools of private firms which include bond issuance of property firms. It is estimated that around cny 250bn private bond financing to be supported with further growth potentials.

*CPCAAUTO: China Oct retail passenger vehicle sales of 1.86mio units, up 7.2% y/y and NEV retail sales of 556k units, up 75.2% y/y with domestic penetration of 30.2%, up 11% y/y.

*COMAC disclosed its contract signed with multiple airplane leasing companies on 330 domestic-produced airplanes, including 300 C919 and 30 ARJ21.

*Aviation Industry Corporation of China issued annual forecast report of civil airplanes in 2022-2041 which predicts China aviation market to maintain stable growth and annual growth of passenger turnover to reach 7.7% in future 20 years and 7035 units of civil airplanes will be replenished.

*Two local regions in Beijing Tongzhou district eased dual restrictions of house purchase, local registered families are allowed to purchase 2 homes and non-registered families can purchase 1 home after 5-year social insurance or tax payment.

*BYD announced high-end auto brand, named as “Yangwang”, priced at range of cny 800k-1.5mio by estimate and will be officially launched at year end.

*Suning (002024 CH) clarified rumors saying 39% stake purchase by supply and marketing cooperatives in exploration of online market as untrue.

*Reuters reported saying a major plant is involved in counterfeiting of defective rate in production of AirPods, which touched the red line of Apple and to face severe penalties.

Commodities (night session):

* Global crude oil price closed down collectively. December NYMEX contract down 3.4% to closed at $88.67/b, January Brent contract down 2.84% to closed at $95.14/b. INE crude oil active contract down 2.46% to closed at 699.2 yuan/b. API reported an over-expected increase in crude oil storage by 56.8billion barrels.

* Precious metals closed up collectively. COMEX gold contract up 2.1% to closed at $1715.8/oz. SHFE gold active contract up1.83% to closed at 401.96 yuan/gram.

* Metals closed up collectively, LME lead up 4.28%, LME nickel up 1.86%, LME copper up 1.76%, LME zinc up 1.09%. SHFE tin up 2.49%, bonded copper up 1.78%, SHFE nickel up 1.67%, SHFE copper up 1.55%.

* Commodity futures closed mixed. Energy & chemistry futures saw strong performance, PP up 1.64%, soda ash up 1.44%, bitumen up 1.21%. Black series closed up collectively, iron ore up 2.69%, coke up 2.36%, coking coal up 2.11%, hot-rolled coil up 1.71%, steel rebar up 1.58%. Agricultural products closed down mostly, soybean oil down 0.69%, No.2 soybeans down 0.6%.
